General position objectives:

·         Comprehensive Occupational Medicine (90%)

·         Urgent Care / Treat variety of diseases & injuries (10%)

·         Conduct onsite medical care as needed

·         Provide Leadership, direction and coordination of clinical activities with good medical Judgment

·         Work closely with Administrator to ensure quality patient care

·         Cooperate with Management to achieve center objectives

·         Manage and participate in center growth plans

Work environment and conditions:
Work is performed in a clinical office environment. Involves frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, blood borne pathogens and other conditions common to a medical center environment. Contact may involve dealing with angry, upset or uneasy people. May also do on-site medical care as needed.

Requirements

Education: Degree of Doctor or Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from a U.S. accredited institution

Certificate/License: Current license to practice medicine in the State; current certificate to supervise X-ray technicians; current certificate to supervise Physician Assistants; if required current controlled substances registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Department of Justice; Board Certification preferred

Experience: Previous experience in Industrial Medicine, Emergency Medicine or General Practice, preferred
