The ideal candidate has a current active license in the applicable State, Family Practice and Internal Medicine Physicians.  Residents with strong experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine will be considered. Experience in working with geriatric patients is a huge plus.The candidate MUST enjoy working with elderly patients

Our Organization is the largest private practice in the United States dedicated to providing house calls to homebound patients seeks doctors who value spending time with their patients. You will average 8 to 12 visits daily. All support staff, equipment and company vehicle are provided for you.  Our doctors provide most levels of medical care in the home, from routine exams to complex treatment plans. During each visit, Our doctors are accompanied by a medical assistant and equipped with portable diagnostics. This reputable company has 23 offices across 5 states, including Michigan, They are the largest geriatric private practice in the nation.  For over fifteen years, the company has been dedicated to providing quality healthcare to homebound individuals in the comfort of their own residence.  We are committed to educating our physicians in the specialty practice of house call medicine.  During the first year of employment we offer educational opportunities to prepare physicians to complete the AAHCP Home Care Credentialing Exam.  Our physicians provide the highest level of house call medicine with access to full complement of services including in-home laboratory services, EKG’s, echocardiograms, ultrasounds, vascular studies, Holter monitors and x-rays.   The hired candidate is offered specialty programs focused on allowing patients to age in place such as;  Geriatric Cardiology, Geriatric Pulmonology, Geriatric Balance, Prognostic Modeling, and Palliative Care. This position enables a physician to have a quality of life that is unsurpassed.  We offer a Monday through Friday work schedule with no hospital rounds and very minimal call.  Our physicians see an average of 10 patients per day and have a census of approximately 200 patients.  More time with your patients is not only more rewarding; it allows you additional time to resolve complex issues that an office setting can’t provide. Home visits may provide a clue to some problems; an impaired spouse, confusion over which medications to take, interactions of medications prescribed by multiple providers, family dynamics and safety issues that normally can’t be resolved in an office visit.  You will also lead a multidisciplinary team of RNs, MAs and Therapists to offer your patients personalized, comprehensive, supportive and restorative care.  We provide our physicians with a competitive salary and benefit package which includes paid malpractice with tail coverage, health, dental, life, LTD, STD, paid time off, paid CME, flexible spending accounts and a 401K.  We provide you with a company car and your own medical assistant to drive you to each home or facility.   We have received recognition by medical professionals, the media and community leaders. We are proud to promote easy scheduling of appointments from the patient, family, home care nurse or caregiver. Our office staff is always available from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to assist patient needs or schedule a visit. Our goal is to provide all patients the comfort of requesting physician visits within 24-72 hours. Should additional services be needed, we will work closely with home care nurses and other home care services to provide all necessary continuity of care.
