The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for one Emergency Medicine physician. Must be BC in FP,IM or EM  and have Emergency Room experience. The Emergency Department sees close to 30,000 patients per year.  We have 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shifts available as well as 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.  There is also Physician Assistant coverage with triple coverage during peak periods.  The Hospital has a mature Hospitalist program and the Emergency Department has the electronic T System for charting.  The ER sees a little bit of everything.  The Hospital has virtually every specialist on its staff including interventional cardiologists.  The new radiology department will have two 160 slice CT’s and the only 8 channel, fresh blood imaging MRI within 180 miles (also has the largest opening of any non-open MRI made).

The package will include moving expenses, $10,000 CME per year, a fully funded 401-K with a $49,000 annual contribution after one year of employment, health, LTD, malpractice, $120 per hour.

Candidates do not have to be BC in Emergency Medicine as every CV will be reviewed as long as there is ER experience regardless of specialty.

The Area:

This is an area that has much to offer. The community is very family friendly with an excellent school system. We are 90 minutes from the coast and within a 2 hour drive of several metro areas. This is a rich agricultural area but has a metro area population of over 35,000 and a service area of over 150,000 people. It is a short drive to the Atlantic Coastline. The community has one of Georgia’s lowest crime rates. This community has a diversified highly skilled workforce with an abundance of natural resources. A great place to call home.

Texas  Emergency Medicine Opportunity

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Large West Texas regional medical center with established & thriving patient load seeking B/C Emergency Medicine Physician with Texas license (or in process). Current patient load(over 55,000 per year) and the draw area is over 330,000  for population  and this ensures success from day one! Shared call with excellent and very experienced partners will be 1:10.This is not a Visa Opportunity.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Need 1   ATLS, ACLS, PALS certified

BC in EM or PCS with ER experience  @ least 2 years with ER volume of   20,000/year

Level III – do to the lack of a  trauma surgeon on call 24-7

Biggest ER within 150 miles

60,000 patients/year

70 hours provider coverage

Comp is RVU based (ER group will determine all compensation)

$25 per RVU

Cases – lots of blunt trauma (MVA from I-20)

Usually average 15 shifts per month…full-time is 12 10 hour shifts

Shift Schedule has a new physician clocking in  every three hours…so in the middle of the day there could be up to  five working.
